Independent vehicle sourcing
electric 6 seater golf cart procurement
Make supplier responses comparable before a purchasing decision. SeatSix Mobility provides independent sourcing support around requirements, candidate factory matching, quotations and evidence requests. An initial brief may leave choices open; we identify the missing facts without presenting unknown price, inventory, approval or delivery as confirmed.
Request Factory QuotesFour quotation gaps to resolve
Family maximum versus quoted unit
Ask the candidate to name the chassis, seating layout and installed options behind its payload capacity. Six occupants, luggage and accessories share the available load allowance. A category headline cannot substitute for an exact specification sheet; request the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), curb weight and written loading assumptions before comparing alternatives.
Nominal versus usable energy
Request both battery values in kWh, charging connector, charger input and AC charging power. A low equipment price may include a smaller charger or different battery management arrangement. Compare range test cycle assumptions under the same passenger load and route; operating temperature and slopes can change usable duty coverage.
Vehicle price versus delivered scope
Separate the cart, charger, customization, samples, inspection, inland transport, freight and destination charges. Set one Incoterm and delivery point for all responses. A budget supplier may satisfy a basic layout while requiring extra documentation or service coordination; a higher-priced candidate still needs its inclusions checked.
Series document versus exact model
Match the document issuer, vehicle category, model year and configuration to the quoted cart. Ask which evidence is available before payment and which is supplied with shipment. Registration and import acceptance remain separate buyer-side review tasks; a general supplier brochure does not settle exact-model applicability.
What we coordinate
Requirement capture, candidate manufacturer questions, normalized quotation comparisons and document requests. Sample and inspection arrangements need an agreed scope, responsible party and cost. Written exceptions remain visible rather than disappearing into a summary price.
What needs separate agreement
Factory contracting, payment terms, warranty coverage and destination services require confirmation with the relevant parties. SeatSix Mobility does not act as an approval authority or promise supplier performance. Any sourcing service fees and responsibilities must be disclosed before an engagement proceeds.
A working RFQ comparison ledger
| Comparison item | Required basis | Evidence to request |
|---|---|---|
| Configuration | Six-seat drawing, restraint needs, roof/enclosure and powertrain | Revision-specific quotation and dimensional drawing |
| Ratings | Payload in lb/kg, wheelbase in in/mm and duty-speed basis | Exact-model specification and rating evidence |
| Energy | Usable kWh, connector, charger input and range conditions | Battery/charger documentation and test assumptions |
| Delivery | Same quantity, destination, Incoterm and inspection scope | Itemized scope with exclusions and delivery stages |
Start with an open question
Share the configuration choices you have fixed and mark remaining choices as undecided. Include budget currency and scope when useful. We use the brief to frame comparable factory questions; MOQ, sample charges, service terms and final quotation validity remain subject to confirmation.
